Additional Product Terms

TRUEPIC VISION

Truepic Vision is an end-to-end SaaS solution for conducting inspections, capturing verified photos, and post-capture analysis of the images to aid in detecting fraud and to present useful information regarding the content of the photos. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

Components of Truepic Vision

  • A web application for initiating and reviewing inspections
  • A dashboard for reporting and user administration
  • Pre- and post-capture fraud prevention and detection services and features provided by native apps and computer vision-powered APIs
  • Workflow:
    • Per-Inspection texting messages and/or emails
    • Enterprise API for integration with Customer systems
  • “Vision Camera” - native iOS and Android applications that are downloaded by the End User onto their own device, or a mobile web application that is opened by the End User in a mobile browser on their own device, after being sent a message from Truepic’s Customer with a personalized link to an inspection session. The application is automatically branded by Truepic with the Customer’s own logo and colors, but the name of the application stays the same.

Billing for Truepic Vision

Vision is billed per “Virtual Inspection,” which means an inspection conducted using Truepic Vision submitted from a single End-User and related to a single event (e.g. an insurance claim, a loan application, etc.) that may include up to 100 images. A Virtual Inspection is initiated by Customer sending an End User an email, text message or similar communication and Customer receiving images in return from such End User using the Mobile App or the Customer App(s). In the event a single inspection conducted includes more than 100 but less than 200 images, such inspection shall count as two (2) Virtual Inspections. This shall continue if a single inspection contains more than 200 images, with each additional 100 images counting as one additional Virtual Inspection.

AI ANALYSIS

Truepic's AI Analysis add-on applies artificial intelligence, including machine learning and generative AI models, to images and data captured through Truepic Vision to produce automated insights, such as content classification, string extraction, damage assessment, and consistency assessment. AI Analysis is designed to accelerate review and aid decision-making; it does not replace Customer's own review or judgment.

Components of AI Analysis

  • Automated analysis of images and inspection data submitted through Truepic Vision.
  • AI-generated classification, summaries and/or structured outputs delivered via the Vision dashboard and Enterprise API.
  • Configurable analysis types per Customer use case.

Nature of AI Output

Output generated by AI Analysis (“AI Output”) is probabilistic in nature and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. AI Output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute advice or a definitive determination of fraud, damage, value, or any other characteristic. Customer is solely responsible for evaluating AI Output and for any decisions or actions taken in reliance on it, including any decision affecting an End User. Customer shall not represent AI Output as human-generated or as a conclusive finding by Truepic.

Customer Content processed through AI Analysis is not used to train or improve generalized AI models. AI Output is deemed a Report for all purposes under the Truepic Terms of Service.

Billing for AI Analysis

AI Analysis is an optional add-on to Truepic Vision and is billed per subject analyzed, at the rate set forth in the applicable Order Form. Fees for AI Analysis are separate from, and in addition to, Fees for Virtual Inspections. Only images submitted for AI Analysis by Customer incur AI Analysis Fees.

RISK NETWORK

Truepic’s Risk Network add-on enhances fraud detection by identifying patterns linked to previously flagged suspicious activity across the Truepic ecosystem. With the Risk Network enabled, when you, Truepic, or another participating Customer flags activity as suspicious (e.g., a device used during an inspection), that data is added to the Risk Network. If the same flagged item appears in future inspections (e.g. the same device), either in your End User activity or that of another Customer participating in the Risk Network, Truepic will surface a contextual alert indicating that the item has been previously flagged. This enables faster, proactive decision-making and strengthens fraud prevention for all Customers in the Risk Network. All Customers who add the Risk Network service will be sharing their suspicious activity across the Risk Network for the benefit of all participating Customers.

SUPPORT SERVICES

Provided that Customer has paid all Fees due and owing to Truepic and is otherwise in compliance with the Terms of Service and Order Form, then Truepic shall provide Customer with the following service and support on its standard terms at no additional charge:

  • product updates and maintenance;
  • reasonable telephone, email, and website-based technical support to assist Customer in utilizing the Service;
  • account management contact; and
  • technical documentation, including periodic updates.
